Tyler Whalen, 18 years of Seaman, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 6, 1993.
Tyler graduated from North Adams High School in 2011.
He is survived by his mother Danielle Boyd Whalen of Seaman, father Tim Whalen of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, one brother; Luke Whalen of Seaman, one sister; Tiffany Whalen of Seaman, paternal grandmother; Joyce Whalen of Seaman, seven aunts; Teri Crawford of Seaman, Tammy Pinto of Seaman, Trina Sparks of Seaman, Teresa Reid of West Union, Pat Jones of Columbus, Betty McCall of Amelia, and Vickey Boyd of Mt. Orab, four uncles; Bob, George, Victor, and Carl Boyd all of Mt. Orab, and several great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman. Burial will follow in Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
Memorials may be made to Tyler Whalen Memorial Fund at any 1st State Bank location.
