Velma Walker Behm

Velma Walker Behm, 93 years of Hillsboro, died on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born on April 16, 1919, the daughter of the late Harry and Jennie Mae Godman Bloom. Besides her parents she is preceded by her first husband, Charles Walker who died October 12, 1986, her second husband Lewis Behm who died May 4, 2008, one son Bobby Walker and her brother Wendell Bloom.
She was a member of Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ and a member of the Highland Co. Senior Citizens.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Carolyn Walker of Hillsboro, and David Margie Walker of Wilmington, one daughter, Peggy Mike Rector of Hillsboro, one sister, Geneva Wagner of Hillsboro, two Special Friends, Ron Hall and Mark Boltinghouse, 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M on Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will be at Sugartree Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday January 21, 2013 at the funeral home.
