Velma June Hollingsworth, 87 years of Hillsboro, OH passed away on Thursday July 1, 2021.
She was born in Sandy Hook, KY on June 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter and Edna Winkleman. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by husband, George Hollingsworth on October 25, 1995, brother, Don Winkleman and sister, Marie Winkleman.
Velma was a member of the Bible Believers Baptist Church.
Velma is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Frank) Andros, two grandchildren, Lory (Rob) Hubbard and Frank Andros, three great grandchildren, Joshua, Jared and Marley Hubbard, brothers, Claude Winkleman and Carl (Sue) Winkleman, sister, Joyce Lewis, brother-in-law, Gene (Madonna) Hollingsworth and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday July 6, 2021 at the Bible Believers Baptist Church, 7011 Ervin Road, Hillsboro, OH 45133. Burial will follow at the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4pm to 7pmMonday July 5, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Donations can be made to the Highland County Humane Society or the Highland County Animal Shelter.
