Vera J. Miller, 83 years of Peebles, died Thursday, November 2, 2006 at the Terrace Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was born in Newport, Kentucky on December 4, 1922 the daughter of the late Floyd and Carrie Nelson Young.
She was a member of the Beech Fork Christian Baptist Church and the Adams County Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Erma Hoop of Peebles, Anthony and Debbie Dillow of Jacksonville, Florida, daughters and son-in-law, Lois Pertuset of Peebles, Brenda and Tim Caple of Louisville, Kentucky, brothers, Stanley Young of Scottsdale, Arizona, John Young of Lake City, Florida, sister, Jean Woods of Columbus, Ohio, eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
