Verla O. Teeters, 84 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 2, 1919 the daughter of the late Gordon and Armelda Smith Teeters.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis Teeters, Clyde Teeters, and three sisters, Bertha Pendry, Helen Carter, and Genevieve C. Maines.
She is survived by three brothers, Dale Janice Teeters of Washington Court House, Scott Teeters of Hillsboro and Claude Katie Teeters of Hillsboro, brother-in-law, Clyde Maines of Hillsboro, two sisters-in-law, Lulubelle Teeters of Leesburg and Hazel Teeters of Washington Court House, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Noah Robert Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Crestwood Nursing Center Activities Fund, 141 Willettsville Pike, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
