Veva M. Hunt, 88 years of Bainbridge, OH., died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born October 31, 1920 in Pike County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Martin Van Buren and Laura Perry Badgley. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Hunt who died November 26, 1999; two sisters, Virgia Hunt and Ethel Wendell.
Veva was a member of the Greenfield Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she taught Primary Class in Church and enjoyed visiting members of church.
Veva is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Carol L. Morgan of Bainbridge, OH., Ellen and Len Parker of Bainbridge, OH.: five grandchildren, Alicia Glen Gay of Carmel, IN., Janice Russ Beatty of Sheridan, IN., Gene R. Morgan of Hillsboro, OH., Larry Keri Parker of Martinsville, OH., Beth David Snider of New Vienna, OH.; 10 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OH..
President Thomas J. Morello will preside with burial to follow in the Harmon Cemetery near Rarden, OH..
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
