Victor A. Reno, Sr., 84 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Highland County, Ohio on January 2, 1923 the son of the late Joseph and Dottie B. Lewis Reno.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
He was united in marriage on August 8, 1942 to Helen J. Reno, who passed away on October 19, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Jared Greene, four sisters, and three brothers.
He is survived by his son, Victor Reno, Jr. of Hillsboro, daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Richard "Mick" Greene of Hillsboro, sister, Mary Berry of Del Rio, Texas, three grandchildren, Tim Greene of Hillsboro, Sue Richard Watson of Greenfield, and Brenda Barry Earley of Hillsboro, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Hospice Chaplain, Rev. Robin McCarthy officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
