Victoria J. "Vicki" Ames, 72 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, July 26, 2014.
She was born June 1, 1942 in Springfield, OH, the daughter of the late James Oscar and Jean Elizabeth McDonald Swisshelm.
Vicki was a member of the Hillsboro 1st United Methodist Church, 1960 graduate of Wilmington High School, received her RN degree from Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton and was a Licensed Massage Therapist.
On November 3, 1963 she was united in marriage to Gary L. Ames who survives. She is also survived by one son Michael L. Rebecca Ames of Hillsboro; two daughters Sherri Lynn Timothy Helterbrand of Hillsboro, Pamela Jean Kurt Schlegel of Shreve, OH; eleven grandchildren Abigail Helterbrand, A.J. Helterbrand, Jacob Helterbrand, Joseph Helterbrand, Nathan Katie Schlegel, Juliane Jordan Mast, Matthew Schlegel, Hannah Schlegel, Katie Ames, Ann Ames, Claire Ames; five great grandchildren Micah Schlegel, Titus Schlegel, Cara Schlegel, Brenna Schlegel, Emma Mast.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Prospect Cemetery. casual dress please
Pastor Ken Woleab will officiate.
No visitation will be held.
