Vina Smith, 99 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, November 15, 2001 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Lee City, Kentucky on August 8, 1902 the daughter of the late Clay and Rhoda Dunn Rudd.
She was a member of the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Smith, who passed away on February 24, 1984, four daughters, one son, five brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Nancy Smith of Beavercreek, daughter and son-in-law, Vansy and Ventis Nickell of Beavercreek, son-in-law, William Burton of Hillsboro, son-in-law, Russell Center of Morrow, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at the Miller Cemetery in Burkhart, Kentucky, under the direction of Porter Funeral Directors of Campton, Kentucky, with Cletus Mullins officiating.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 17, 2001 from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Memorials may be made to the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church, 10211 State Route 72, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
