Vincent L. Strain, Sr., 88 years of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at his residence.
Vincent was born February 19, 1930 at New Market, OH, the son of the late Joseph and Effie (Roberts) Strain. Beside's his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Edwards) Strain on April 23, 2003; three brothers and two sisters.
Vincent was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, Highland County Senior Citizens and a former member of the Hillsboro Elk's Lodge 361.
Vincent is survived by one son, Vincent L. Strain, Jr. of Centerville, OH.; one grandson, Joshua I. Strain of Toledo, OH.; very significant other, Juanita Fiscus and her children, Sue (Nick) Thompson of Hillsboro, Bob Stroop of Hillsboro and Juanita's grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
