Viola M. Lange

Viola Margaret Scholl Lange, 79 years of Winchester, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Adams County Manor.

She was born in Fordham, New York on September 7, 1933 the daughter of the late Fredrick and Mary V. Jackson Scholl.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lange and two brothers; Robert and Richard Scholl.

Viola attended Samantha Freewill Baptist Church and sang in the choir for the Billy Graham Crusade at Madison Square Garden in 1969.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas and Liz Lange, of Seymour, Tennessee, Gerald and Mary Lange, Jr. of Evans, Colorado, and Bill Lange, of Winchester; four daughters and sons-in-law: Kathleen and Tom Palazzolo, of Clarkston, Utah, Dorothy and Ray Remo, of San Antonio, Texas, Peggy and Jim Joram, of Poughquag, New York, and Alice and John Miller, of Sardinia; three brothers: Fredrick, Gerald, and Leonard Scholl all of Yonkers, New York; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12:00 P.M. with the Rev. Wiley Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.
