Viola May Leininger

Viola May Leininger, 91 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday April 2, 2018 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born in Pricetown on October 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Halder and Ethel (Prine) Gossett. Besides her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Carl Leininger on October 24, 1977, grandson, Jason Everson, three brothers, Hugh, Paul and Roger Gossett and sister, Mary Margaret Duke.
Viola was a graduate from Lynchburg High School and was a member of the Pricetown Church of Christ.
Viola is survived by her two sons, Jerry Leininger of Danville and Tom (Candy) Leininger of Danville, two daughters, Carolyn (Roger) Martin of Danville and Nancy Leininger of Danville, nine grandchildren: Trudi Tedrick, Misty Milstead, Kristi Burns, Curtis Leininger, Brian Martin, Shanda Condo, Bruce Leininger, Amy Rich and Greg Leininger, several great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and sister, Velma Layman of Ocala, FL.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday April 6, 2018 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hamer Township Cemetery.
