Viola Pitzer, age 87 of Seaman, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at Eagle Creek Nursing Center.
She was born in Wamsley, Ohio on March 3, 1927 the daughter of the late John and Rosa Walker Kennon.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Pitzer, who passed away on April 3, 1995.
Viola attended Seaman Community Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John and Ruth Pitzer of Peebles; one grandchild, Carol Brown; and two great grandchildren, Josh and Joseph.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
