Virginia Thomas, 95 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Kimball, West Virginia on March 6, 1909 the daughter of the late Charles L. and Judith Burchett Allen.
She was a member of the Burns Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Thomas, who passed away June 1, 1991, one son, Billy Thomas, four sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Thomas of Peebles, Joe Thomas of Peebles, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Marlyn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Burns Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union.
