Virginia M. Wagoner, 85 years of Rainsboro, Ohio died Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Heartland of Hillsboro.

She was born October 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Ralph and Josephine Allen, in Groton, New York.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence P. Wagoner, who passed away on November 15, 1998.

She was a member of the Rainsboro United Methodist Church and the Leesburg Art Guild. She was an Art Instructor for over 40 years. She served her country as a WAC in the U.S. Army.

She is survived by her immediate family Monty Barbara Rayburn of Hillsboro; two grandsons, Carl W. Rayburn of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Craig A. Rayburn of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky; a brother Jack M. Alice Allen of East Syracuse, New York; three sisters, June E. Larry Spaugenburg of Owego, New York, Elizabeth M. Roe and Joyce M. Ferland both of Bradenton, Florida; brother-in-law, Jacob T. Oleta Wagoner of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Clara Garen of Carmel; brother-in-law, Robert Boothby of Mason, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Zedda Myers will officiate with burial to follow in the Roads Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
