Vivian A. Burnett

Vivian A. Burnett, 87 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on October 14, 1918 the daughter of the late Carey and Ada Musser Bissinger.
She worked for Litts Department Store and Hillsboro Dry Goods for several years. She also owned and operated News & Novelty in Hillsboro for several years. She was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Louden Burnett, who passed away on January, 27, 1988, one grandson, Robby, and three brothers, Paul, Raymond, and Homer Bissinger.
She is survived by three sons, Wayne & Cathy Burnett of Charlotte, NC, James Burnett of Hillsboro, Earl & Sharon Burnett of Hillsboro, one sister- in- law, Helen Bissinger of Hillsboro, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. John Petrie officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 till 5:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
