Walter Adam Nock, Sr., 81 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 while visiting his son Walter Jr.
He was born in Middletown, Ohio on September 29, 1925 the son of the late Ralph and Helen Tesmer Nock.
He spent most of his life in Middletown and Franklin, and for the past thirty years lived in the Peebles area. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He retired from Warsaw Trucking in 1973.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, William H. Nock, Jr., brother, Harold Nock, and one sister, Louise Wildermuth.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Walter A. and Debbie Nock, Jr. of Eaton, William Howard and Jackie Nock of Franklin, daughter, Patricia A. Nock of Franklin, four grandchildren, Jennifer Marcus Choate, Bill Leah Tackett, Nebraska Nock, Spencer Tackett, and five great grandchildren, Nathaniel Choate, Curtis, Michael, Tyler, and Paige Tackett.
Funeral services will be held on
Monday, February 19, 2007 at 5:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Carey R. Hilterbran officiating, with military rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard. Private burial will be on Tuesday in the Woodside Cemetery in Middletown.
Friends may call on Monday from 3:00 till 5:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
