Walter E. Rhoads, Sr., 62 years of New Vienna, OH, died August 17, 2009 at his
Residence.
He was born in Hillsboro, OH on September 2, 1946 the son of the late Russell and Margie Potts Rhoads. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Rhoads on May 29, 2005, step father, James Potts, one daughter, Patty Rhoads, one brother Tony Rhoads, one sister Bonnie Eversole and one brother-in-law, Donald Eversole.
He was a member of the Samantha Freewill Baptist Chruch.
He is survived by one son Walter Eugene Rhoads Jr., of New Vienna, one daughter, Debbie Huddleston of New Vienna, two brother Kenny Marilyn Rhoads of Burgoon, Oh. Roger Tonya Rhoads of Seaman, three sisters, Marsha Lester Deeter of Hillsboro,
Betty Price of Hillsboro, Nancy Harpree of Hillsboro, five grandchildren, Aprille Greinner, Dillon Huddleston, Jaci Smallwood, Dusty Grimshaw, Zach Grimshaw, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Wiley Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
