Walter P. Walsh, 86 years of Winchester, died Saturday, September 29, 2001 at Ohio Valley Manor in Ripley.
He was born at West Liberty, KY on July 31, 1915 the son of Josh and Ruie Bailey Walsh.
He was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII and was a truck driver for Gateway Transportation.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jack B.Walsh and one sister
Ruth Hall.
He is survived by his wife ThelmaHastings Walsh of Winchester, two step sons John Jean Murphy of Morrow, FrancisJudy Murphy of Winchester, two
step daughters Regina E. VanNote of West Carrolton and Helen David Freeman of Ft.
Worth, TX. three sisters, Thelma Henderson of Ocala, FL, Lucille Butler of Crossville TN. Phyllis Hilgeman of Kettering, thirteen step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services or visitation for Mr. Walsh.
The Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home of Winchester is in charge of arrangements.
