Wanda Jean (Jackson) Collins, 85 years of Hillsboro, passed away on January 30, 2021 peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lee County, Virginia on April 6, 1935, the daughter of the late Mary P. and Willie Jackson.
Wanda is survived by her husband, of 67 years, Blaine E. Collins of Hillsboro, sons, Mark and Kristina Collins of Oxford, MI, Steve and Debra Collins of New Carlisle, David and Shelly Collins of Chesterfield, Virginia, Daryl and Denise Collins of Forest, VA, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister, Doris and Earl Rickey of Miamisburg, OH, brothers, Nickey and Barbara Jackson of Washington, CH, Ohio, Gary Jackson of Chillicothe, OH along with many other friends and family members.
Her greatest joy as a teenager was accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior and she was truly an example of the virtuous woman from Proverbs 31. Her faith never waivered as she served God by using her gifts and talents for others. As stated in 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV), "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith..."
Funeral Services will be 10:30am Thursday February 4, 2021 at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Graveside service will be 2:30pm at the Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton, OH.
Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday February 3, 2021 at the church.
