Warren Beckham, Sr., 76 years of Peebles, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 26, 1934 the son of the late Fred and Helen Obel Beckham.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter; Linda Mossman.
Warren was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the American Legion, and Cincinnati Masonic Lodge #69.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Bacon Beckham of Peebles, whom he married on August 19, 1961, three sons; Warren and Mary Harris of Utah, Warren Beckham, Jr. of Cincinnati, and Scott Beckham of Peebles, three daughters; Jackie Simmons of Seaman, Becky and Roger Sexton of Peebles, and Helen Beckham of West Union, two sisters; Joyce Waller of Cincinnati and Sylvia Herrmann of Mainville, Ohio, 19 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with James Ritchie officiating; Military Rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard. Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
