Wauleta "Tillie" Phillips, 91 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Carriage Court of Hilliard in Hilliard, Ohio.
She was born at Lawrence County, Kentucky on August 15, 1921 the daughter of the late John and Myrtle Carter Ferrell. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur V. Phillips on October 6, 1977; one son David Phillips; two sisters, Wilma Huffman and Blanche Capelle; one brother Earl Ferrell.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Connie & Bill Penquite of Galloway, OH., Cheryl & Jim Burchinal of Hilliard, OH., Cinda Carter of Batavia, OH., Carla & Rod Dougherty of Des Moines, IA.; one son & daughter-in-law, Gary & Sandra Ferrell of McCordsville, IN.; one daughter-in-law, Liesa Phillips of Kansas City, MO.; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one sister Fanny Ellen Webster of Xenia, OH.; sister-in-law Jewell Fling of Hillsboro, OH.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Raymond and Martha Phillips of Hillsboro, OH.; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 A.M. till time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
