Wayne David Avedisian, age 54 of Winchester, Ohio, passed away on January 6, 2025 at his home after a lengthy battle with Frontotemporal Dementia. He was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on October 20, 1970. He is survived by his parents Jerry Wayne Avedisian and Nancy Elaine (Gotherman) Avedisian. He is also survived by his loving companion, Toy Michelle (Stevens) Maxwell and her mother Connie Stevens. Other survivors include brother - Jason/Lynette Avedisian; children - Daiquiri/Ryan Meares, Brian/Sarah Maxwell, Ally/Travis Speakman; grandchildren - Ayden Nehus, Grasen Maxwell, Mason Speakman, Sawyer Meares, Eli Speakman, Halen Meares, Avery Maxwell, Emery Meares and Oliver Maxwell and nephews Emmett Hamilton-Avedisian and Everett Hamilton-Avedisian. Wayne is preceded in death by his close companion's father, James Stevens.
Wayne graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1989 and worked as a diecast maintenance engineer for 30 years at Ahresty in Wilmington, Ohio. Throughout his lifetime his passions included motorsports, water sports, traveling and playing with his grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, 2700 Horizon Drive, Suite 120, King of Prussia, PA 19406 in memory of Wayne Avedisian.
