Wayne Earl Mealy, Jr.

Wayne E. Mealy, Jr., 92 years of Indianapolis, IN., passed away Friday, September 23, 2022.

Wayne was October 2, 1929 in Youngstown, OH., the son of the late Wayne E. and Bernice Leona (Walters) Mealy, Sr. Beside his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Hurt) Mealy.

Wayne was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked in the Meat Packing Industry and owned an Apple Orchard.

Wayne is survived by nephews and locally by the late Henry Jennings Family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Military Rites will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home by the Highland County Honor Guard. Burial will be held at the Rockwell Cemetery in Scioto County at the Convenience of the Family.
