Wendell Thomas, 95 years of Seaman, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on October 8, 1911 the son of the late George and Louvena Moore Thomas.
He was a member of the Seaman United Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge #43.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Donna Thomas, and two sisters, Ruth Peterson, and Geneva Gorman.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years, Helen McCormick Thomas of Seaman, son, John Thomas of Seaman, daughters and sons-in-law, Gayle and Bill Sullivan of Seaman, Linda and Russ Strine of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Pastor Nate Manzo officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
