Wesley Roush, 95 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at his residence.
He was born near Russell Station, Ohio on November 26, 1910 the son of the late Ted and Lavina Gossett Roush.
He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1928 and earned his bachelor?s degree in 1932 from Miami University. He received his master?s degree in education and administration in 1940 from Ohio State University. He started teaching at Union School and later taught and was an administrator for Hillsboro City Schools. Besides teaching he was also a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ, and a 33rd Degree Mason.
He was united in marriage on December 23, 1936 to Sarah Gross Roush, who passed away on June 10, 1993. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Annabel Teets, his brother, Sigel Roush, DDS, and his son-in-law, Dan Glenn.
He is survived by his children, Ted Mary Roush, D.D.S., Ann Elaine Glenn, Ken Judy Roush, Sally Rogers, Glenn Anne Roush, M.D., fourteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Fairview Church of Christ with Larry Herdman officiating.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 till 6:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
