Willard Malachi Basford, 66 years of Seaman, died Saturday, April 13, 2002 at the Adams County Hospital.
He was born at Bath County, KY on May 17, 1935 the son of Ernest Clayton and Naomi Boyd Basford.
He attended the Mt. Calvary Church and was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife Dolores Hughes Basford of Seaman, Step mother, Rena Basford of Winchester, two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Pam Basford of Hillsboro, James and Becky Basford of Hillsboro, four brothers, Goble Basford of Mobile, Al, Gary Basford of Seaman, Bill Basford of Winchester, Randy Basford of Winchester, two sisters, Barbara Hedger of Franklin, Debbie Ferrell of Winchester, four grandchildren, Jason Basford, Casey Basford, Zachary Basford and Molly Basford.
Fumeral Serices will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Pappy Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 8;00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Calvary Church.
