William "Bill" Tharp

William J. "Bill" Tharp, 87 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, September 30. 2024.

He was born May 22, 1937 in Hillsboro, OH, son of the late Harold and Louise (Freshour) Tharp. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann (Allen) Tharp and granddaughter, Tiffany Williams.

Bill was a graduate from Hillsboro High School where afterwards he went on graduate from Barber School, sell Real Estate, delivered for the Cincinnati Enquirer, worked at the Hillsboro Mooredrop, Hillsboro Manufacturing, Irwin Auger Bit in Wilmington, Randall Manufacturing, MAC Tools as well as GE in Irwindale. He was also a member of the UAW and Stewardship of the organization.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya (Dave) Williams of Leesburg, OH; son, Rodney (Jenny) Tharp of Nokomis, FL; significant other, Bonnie Campbell; 5 grandchildren, Angel (Bill) Washington, Cody (Naomi) Williams, Tyler Williams, Aaliyah Williams, Dylan Tharp; sister, Wanda Bond of Westerville and special friend Tom Koehler.

Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM Friday, October 04, 2024 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OH.

Friends may call from 12:00 PM until time of service Friday, October 04, 2024 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OH.

Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery.
