William Everett Burris, 75 years of Winchester, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Ohio Valley Manor.
He was born in Russellville, Ohio on June 27, 1937 the son of the late Perry and Mary Snider Burris.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Burris, who passed away on January 3, 2008, three brothers; Walter, Donald, and Jimmy, and one sister-in-law; Laura Burris.
William was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law; Rick and Eva of Manchester, Robbie and Barbara of Manchester, Everett William of Chillicothe, and Donald and Julie Burris of Blue Creek, one step daughter and son-in-law; Elaine and Casey Prater of Cherry Fork, one brother; Johnny Burris of Troy, Ohio, three sisters-in-law; Barb of Georgetown, Donna of Hillsboro, and Gloria Burris of Hillsboro, 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 2 nephews, and 1 niece.
Cremation is to take place with no services scheduled at this time. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester is in charge of the arrangements.
