William R. Bill Fulton, 60 years of the Locust Grove Community, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on March 22, 1943 the son of the late Russell and Adna C. Mason Fulton.
He was an Army Veteran of the Viet-Nam Era. He worked at the Pennington Bread Company for two years, retired from Mead Westvaco Container Corporation after thirty-five years of service, and continued working at the Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation. He was a member of the Local Union #51070.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, John Cleveland, Don Myers, Tom Benner, and one sister-in-law, Marcella Angel.
He was united in marriage on April 4, 1964 to Judy Hilterbran Fulton, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Pam and David Stephens of Peebles, grandchildren, Ty, Nathan, and Brittany, sisters, Sandra Cleveland of Peebles, Mary Fulton of Peebles, several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Phil Fulton and Richard Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
