William "Kenney" Greene, 48 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on May 13, 1958 the son of Bill K. Greene and Lois May Kidder Gilpin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill K. Greene, and one sister, Hope Renee Greene.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Lois May and Eugene Gilpin of Lawshe, son, Derrick Matthew Greene of Lynchburg, daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Darrell Phillips of Lynchburg, seven brothers, Gerrie Greene of Sabina, Brent E. Greene of Hillsboro, Chad Greene of Hillsboro, James McPherson of Xenia, Kevin McPherson of St. Louis, Missouri, Mike Gilpin of West Union, Ricky Gilpin of Seaman, and one granddaughter, Nikole Gergely.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Janie Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
