William J. Rhoads

William J. "Jody" Rhoads, 96 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday March 23, 2015 at the Highland District Hospital.
He was born in Highland County on June 28, 1918, the son of the late Hyman and Macy (Lewis) Rhoads. Besides his parents he was preceded by his wife Geneva Pearl (Barney) Rhoads on January 13, 1985; son James Rhoads, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, six brothers and three sisters.
William retired from Webster Manufacturing Company and was a member of the Berrysville Holiness Church.
William is survived by six sons, Edward (Sue) Rhoads, Carl (Sherry) Rhoads, Orville (Sandy) Rhoads, Dennis (Rosie) Rhoads, David (Darlene) Rhoads and Flannery Rhoads, three daughters, Elwanda (Leonard) Null, Carolyn (Merle) Crabill and Vickie (Phil) Null, sister, Ruby Everetts, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Rhoads, 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday March 27, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
