William Willis Schramm

William Willis Schramm, 70 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born May 9, 1939 in Gary, Indiana,
the son the late Peter Schramm and Edna Amos Schramm of Bethel, OH. Beside his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Peter, George and Tom Schramm.
William retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years serving during the Viet-Nam Era, retired from the Hamilton County Sheriff?s Office after 16 years of service, retired member of the Arlington Heights Fire Department and was a Life member of the DAV.
Beside his mother, he is survived by his wife Nancy Bauer Schramm who were united in marriage on January 4, 1964. He is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Molly Schramm of Cincinnati; daughter, Connie Brockman of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Stephen Michael Schramm and Brittaney Elrod; two sisters-in-law, Jan Schramm of Cincinnati and Mary Jo Schramm of Bethel.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard at the Rhoads Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
