William Dale Smalley

Dale Smalley, 80 years of Jacktown Community, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on September 8, 1928 the son of the late Elmer and Mary Toller Smalley.
Dale was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Edith Shupert Smalley of Jacktown Community, whom he married on October 9, 1954, sons and daughter-in-law; Steve Smalley of Peebles and David and Margaret Smalley of Peebles, two daughters and sons-in-law; Janet and Orville Lane of Peebles and Rose and Terry Alexander of Rarden, two brothers; Kenneth Smalley of Peebles and Ray Smalley of Peebles, one sister; Mae Thatcher of Amelia, eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Burial will follow in Jacktown Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
