William H. Watson, Sr., 88 years of Peebles, died Thursday, March 28, 2002 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born in Thacker, West Virginia on October 22, 1913 the son of the late Daniel and Zula Ross Watson.
He worked for the Ford Motor Company.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lassie Moore Watson, who passed away on November 21, 1977, and one son, Charles Watson.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Barbara Watson of Hardy, Arkansas, Bill and Judy Watson, Jr. of Peebles, Ohio, Jim and Glenda Watson of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and Bee Varney of Portsmouth, Ohio, Leona and Chuck Reynolds of Lorain, Ohio, Ruth and Bill Carter of Elyria, Ohio, Vada Gill of Amherst, Ohio, twenty-five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Resthaven Memory Gardens Chapel in Avon, Ohio with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Resthaven Memory Gardens Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union Building Fund, 480 Portsmouth Road, Peebles, OH 45660.
