Wilma J. Johnson, 85 years of Peebles, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Peebles, Ohio.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on April 28, 1922 the daughter of the late Ernest and Grace Taylor McFarland.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harlan Johnson in 1974, three brothers and two sisters.
Wilma was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ and the Adams County Senior Citizens.
She is survived by three sons & daughter-in-law Mark & Betty Johnson of Peebles, OH, Jeff Johnson of Peebles, OH, and Ronnie Johnson of Columbus, OH. One daughter Imogene Ryan of Peebles, OH. Three brothers Jimmy McFarland of West Union, OH, Burton McFarland of Peebles, OH, Ernest McFarland, Jr. of Manchester, OH. One sister Ann Rudd of Peebles, OH. Five grandchildren, Gina, Ronnie, Jimmy, Brian, and Jennifer. Five great grandchildren Trent, Emily, Taylor, Aaron, and Laura.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of God Funeral Home in Peebles, Ohio with Ron Stephens and Cheryl Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of God.
The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Wallace-Thompson Chapel in Peebles, Ohio is in charge of the arrangements.
