Windsor Alonzo Truman, 83 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday January 8, 2005 at his residence.
He was born in Highland County on March 27, 1921 the son of the late David L. and Edna Storer Truman.
He was a farmer and foundry worker.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter Ruby Truman and one sister Patricia Gregg.
He is survived by his wife Betty McClure Truman of Hillsboro, six sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Truman of Lynchburg, David Truman of Winchester, Ronald and Cathy Truman of Hillsboro, Randy Truman of Sabina, Marvin Truman of Hillsboro, Ricky and Wendy Truman of Peebles, two daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and Dan Music of Winchester, Gloria Jean and Frank Alvarez of Highland, CA, one brother Paul Jean Truman of Hillsboro, one sister Virginia Mahanes of Sardinia, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and nine step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
