Wonetta Peterson, 91 years of Seaman, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 25, 1918 the daughter of the late Homer and Ollis Siders Smart.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eldred Peterson, who passed away in 2003 and her brother Homer Smart, Jr.
Wonetta was a member of the Mayhill Church of Christ.
She is survived by one niece, three nephews, and ten great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Gene Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
Memorials may be made to the Adams County Honor Guard.
