Yvonne "Birdie" Bean, 72 years of Peebles, died Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Hillcrest Nursing Center in Peebles.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on September 19, 1935 the daughter of the late William and Mildred Abbott Shiveley.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Bean, who passed away in 1992.
She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Rosalee Shiveley of Wheat Ridge, Charles and Mildred Shiveley of Peebles, one sister, Linda Ritchie of Batesville, Indiana, care giver, Larry and Patty Shiveley of Peebles, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Richard Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
